About Us
American Safe Air, Inc. is a Disabled Veteran founded corporation that was established in 2001 by David A. Stout. David created our company with the prospect of supplying efficient solutions for providing timely delivery of mail that is free of unwanted agents.
Because there is not yet a reliable process for preventing biological and chemical attacks, the most operationally supportive mode for any agency is one in which a threat, when present, can be detected at the earliest possible stage and then immediately contained. American Safe Air, Inc. has designed a solution that provides for the use of the most current technologies to be applied in a controlled, contained and constantly monitored environment.

For more than two decades American Safe Air, Inc. has served an extensive range of both public and private clientele nationwide through installation of our custom-engineered Negative Pressure Mail Rooms (NPMR). American Safe Air, Inc. has designed and installed a variety of both modular and mobile NPMR configurations to accommodate each client’s specific requirements.
Our HEPA filtration units have been used independently of our Negative Pressure Mail Rooms for over 20 years to clean and circulate air in homes and businesses; helping to limit the spread of common airborne pathogens.

What is a 'Negative Pressure' environment?
A negative pressure environment is created when the air pressure inside of a room is lower than the air pressure outside of the room. Because air flow moves towards areas of lower pressure in an attempt to balance the differences in pressure, outside air is constantly moving into the room. This allows any contaminants to be isolated to the room itself; thereby preventing contamination of surrounding areas.
Does American Safe Air, Inc. make detection equipment?
American Safe Air, Inc. does not make detection equipment. Our products are designed to help contain threats as they arrive using a negative pressure environment. Our rooms can be customized to accommodate most detection equipment on the market today. The detection equipment you utilize has a tremendous impact on the effectiveness of your mail processing operation.
